This humorous, thought provoking, visionary satire is fast paced, irresistibly funny and as full of laugh out loud characters and bizarre events as “Dreams From The Death Age” (Book 1 of “The Book of Baker” series). First published in 2005 it is equally prophetic, and spine-chillingly relevant now.
It’s 2028. The US President resorts to bizarre ramblings as the world descends into social and political chaos. Leandra Loveless, the US National Security Advisor, takes over and her mind-boggling plan to get things back on track and “save the day” is a nuclear attack against an unarmed African nation.
Captain Elizabeth Bueno, the commander of the aircraft carrier USS Kilehuela, is shocked by her orders. A battle between duty and morality tears at her soul. Comply and trigger a nuclear Armageddon? Defy and risk her own demise?
Meanwhile in Oregon, Sean Baker and Dawn take over the abandoned BAAH buildings as a refuge for the homeless victims of the “civil war” that has exploded across the country, as the long overdue San Andreas Fault earthquake changes the entire western coastline from Oregon to the Baja Peninsula, forcing Sean to find a safer place for his band of refugees.
They can’t help wonder if a “mutated” humanity can ever rise above its baser instincts and embrace more enlightened thinking? Or is almost total annihilation the only answer?
Dreams from the Death Age (Part 1) and Armageddon (Part 2) are available now in paperback and Kindle. The third book, Genesis Revisited is yet to follow.
Book length: 573 pages

Have read both books in the series & can't wait for the next one. They are full of humour & thought provoking.
I highly recommend it, have become a fan of this author.
After reading the first one, I immediately purchased the second book, Armageddon, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
